Arts Fest ‘ADWAYA 2023’ begins at Santhigiri Siddha Medical College

Aiming for excellence in the fields of Arts and Sports along with studies, Santhigiri Siddha Medical College launched Arts festival ADWAYA 2023 today (Wednesday, 13th December 2023). Swami Gurusavidh Jnana Thapaswi, Head of Santhigiri Healthcare & Research Organisation inaugurated the function which was held at the College Auditorium. Principal Dr.D.K Soundarajan presided over the function, Vice Principal Dr.P.Hariharan, Professors Dr.G.Mohanambigai, Dr.J Ninapriya, SSMC Alumni Association President In-charge Dr.Sradha Sugathan, PTA Vice President Mr.Hansraj G.R, College Convenor Mr.Mahesh M, Deputy Convenor Indhu S participated in the function. Fine Arts Committee Head Dr.V.A Mekala given the welcome address and students Union Chairman Aakash Kumar given the vote of thanks.

Students were divided into four houses for competitions. Sports competitions will be held from 14th December 2023 to 17th December 2023 and the Annual Athletic Meet will be held at University Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram on 18th December 2023. Sports committee Head K.Binod is in charge of the co-ordination of sports competitions. Other Committee members are Dr.K.Namasivayam, DR.L Sivavenketesh, Dr.Prakash S.L, Mrs. Sindhu B.P, Dr.A Jayakalaiarasi, Dr.Jayasri J.M. At the end of the Arts and Sports Competitions, the college day will be held with the participation of prominent people from Art, Social & Cultural field.
