Santhigiri Konni Pappadam in Kannur

Kannur: The Santhigiri pappadam produced in Konni will now be made available in Kannur by Santhigiri Ashram. Santhigiri Ashram President Chaitanya Jnana Thapasvi inaugurated the distribution of pappadam at a cultural meeting held at Santhigiri Ashram, Kannur area at 5.30 pm on Monday, ahead of the Pujitha Peeddom Samarpanam annual celebrations.

Kannur Area Incharge Swami Atmabodha Jnana Thapasvi said that the distribution of pappadam is done by Sneham Purusha Swayam Sahaya Sangham, run by a group of devotees. This is a self-help group that has been working in Chakkarakal for the past three years. Guru had earlier instructed to start a Pappadam Unit in the Branch Ashram. A discussion was held with Industries Department Head Swami Janathirthan Jnana Thapaswi in this regard. During the discussion, it was decided that the pappadam produced in Konni could be distributed in Kannur as well.
