COVID-19: Karnataka reported 7665 new cases on Tuesday

On Tuesday, Karnataka conducted a record 59,088 tests in a day, the highest so far.

Consequently, a higher number of covid positive cases were reported, with a whopping 7,665 positive cases reported on Tuesday, thereby taking the total number of cases to 94,106.

Bengaluru reported 2,242 cases. Worryingly, the state also recorded 139 deaths, with 49 deaths in Bengaluru alone.

However, the big news of the day was the increased number of discharges, with 8,387 patients being cured, taking the total discharges to 1,56,949.
