Noted translator KP Balachandran passes away

Popular Malayalam translator K P Balachandran passed away in Thrissur.He was 81.He has translated many books to malayalam including popular works penned by Tolstoy,Destoevsky,DH Lawerence ,Victor Hugo,Taslima Nasim. The noted translator has penned 91 books including 12 historic books. He has bagged the best translator award constituted by Kerala State Institute of Children’s Literature.He is survived by wife Dr Santha Balachandran and two sons Vinod K B and Anand KB
