Santhigiri parampara: Taking the glory forward;Swami Gururethnam Jnana Tapaswi

“Manju”

Valuable Excerpts from the speech of Santhigiri Ashram’s esteemed General Secretary Swami Gururethnam Jnana Tapaswi at the Satsang

For the last 10 days I have been attending the prayers of our Sanyasis from Gurudharmaprakash Sabha in the loving grace of our beloved Guru . I would like to take this opportunity to express my love to everyone. Over the last ten days, important personalities in the Santhigiri Parampara have spoken about our Guru. The intensity of the asceticism and its experiences were all mentioned. Every speech seemed like a great experience to all of us. Sannyasa in Santhigiri is the fulfillment or completion of a Guru’s rule, the perfection of a proper ritual. This is a difference not seen anywhere else.

It is the glorious completion of the Santhigiri Parampara that connects with history the monasticism that comes with many times the power of God’s ultimate mercy in the place of a stupid notion of thinking that one can live begging when one is in dire straits to live.

A system that is capable of seeing the sorrows and pains of human beings and shedding their tears is disappearing among us today, politically or socially. However, the sanctity of Santhigiri means that the public service of this democratic community can be given to the world by the Guru’s merciful grace to change the stagnation of governance and to investigate the course of action before us.

The self-sacrificing person, the jadavalkarachari, and the ascetics in the forest and the hills will be different from the material world. None of this can be seen from the Guru’s point of view as an example of a Sanyasi. The Sannyasa Sangha of Santhigiri is said to be personalities who embody the morality of governance, the art of creativity of literature and the divinity of music. Here the ruler and the dharma ruler complement each other and integrate to the same point. The Guru has enabled our group of Sanyasis to fill the whole field with light and its blessings through the deeds given by the Guru according to the will of God.

Once a father said to his son, “Son, you must take good care of our sheep. Never decrease in number.prevent them from all sickness. You must always take care of them by giving food and water. I am not able to do such things anymore. You need to do everything as usual.” The son agreed. His father died a few days later. The son was looking after the sheep. One day a wolf jumped into the middle of the sheepfold. The wolf bit a goat and left the place. He wondered if it was because of his carelessness.

Then the son thinks, I should be more careful not to let that happen again. But the next day the wolf took the goat again and for a few days, the wolf did the same. The son felt indescribable grief, pain and helplessness. He prayed with tears. My God, I could not keep my word to my father. What can I do now, his eyes filled with tears. At that moment a light appeared in front of his closed eyes! He felt it was the light of God. He prayed, “O my merciful God, save me.” At that moment God said to him, “Child, your father trusted me and entrusted me with the care of the sheep. You often thought that the sheep lived under your care. You often forgot me. So I came in the form of a wolf and took your sheep.

On hearing this son said, “O God, forgive me . Forgive me for all my deeds. He submitted everything to God. Later he didn’t have any problem and the number of sheep also multiplied. There is a lesson to be learned from this story: Peace of mind and longevity come when we are able to live according to God’s will.

This is a lesson that everyone should embrace. All the Grihasthashramis and Sanyasis must realise that Guru will make ordinary people extraordinary. People who are disciples of the Guru can weave dreams about life to inspire others and lead them on the path of the Guru to make those dreams come true and lead them, it is not their ability, we believe in that ability given by the Guru. When we believe in that ability, we become believers of the Guru. Grihasthashrami owns property, vehicle and possessions. The heir and keeper of all this is the Grihasthashrami and all that belongs to the Sanyasi belongs to the world. It belongs to others.

Sanyasi is a Tyagi, and everything will come wherever the sanyasi sits. Those children are actually the Grihasthashramis savings.

Those children are actually the household’s savings. If the children are not good and virtuous, if there are children who are destroying the home and the country, they will disturb the very rhythm of the family. Therefore, there are a number of things that a Grihasthashrami needs to consider when raising children. The future of this paramapra lies in the Sanyasa sabha. It is the Sannyasis who have to carry forward the destiny of our paramapara. The Guru is shaping the lives of the Grihasthas here to create that parampara of Sanyasis. It is in that concept that the Guru nurtures a man and a woman. It is an essential stage to think about what the Grihasthashrami or family should be, what the children of that family should be, and whether the son or daughter growing up there should complete life according to the will of the Guru. Because the future of this parampa lies on our children. We must all be careful that our children do not fall into the trap of our knowledge or heritage.

It is not enough for them to have their knowledge, culture, character, heritage and life. The Guru said that they should become the first in the world,so only the life of a Grihasthashrami will be successful. Whether he is a Sanyasi or a homemaker, he is the architect of a nation, the architect of society, the architect of the world. Guru says that if there are 650 or 700 crore people on earth today, the children who will be born here again ,when their next generation comes they are destined to change the destiny of this world and the culture of this world.

Ignorance is found in our families who are not able to raise their children properly. Parents do this in front of their children, urging them not to fight, not to lie. When such a stressful situation is created in front of the children without respecting the mother or the father, the children will be in a situation where they will not be able to accept whatever the parents say and obey. All of our gurus have always told us that parents should have such an attitude of mutual acceptance and that it should come to the knowledge of their children. The Guru said that children should not inject their knowledge and ignorance into their own. The Guru said we should look at their habits and be patient with them. A word that evokes the mind is more beneficial than a thousand smells.

When the minds of children are awakened and we listen to their words and deeds, we can understand how high they are. On the contrary, speaking or behaving in a way that demeans the mind can have the opposite effect. The biggest thing parents need to do is to admit their children their shortcomings and to prevent them from this.

We are ignorant. Only words and deeds should come from us accordingly, you should not care about it, learn from us, do not be like us, you should grow up, the Guru has given you the knowledge and ability to do that. Pray to the Guru as you do Pray for the good and You need to rely more on the Guru We have the knowledge to give. The Guru will give you everything . children should remember that they are the children of the Guru.

The babies of the birds fly in groups with their mother. After a while, the mother bird does not approach the babies. The mother bird tells the babies in its language to fly alone. This is what the Guru says about raising children to be capable. If the baby bird flutters its wings while flying, the other birds will call out, “Maybe it’s God!” The baby that goes down then rises up with the force of the antecedent. Here it was God who gave strength to the baby bird’s drooping wings. That bird is more attached to that god than to the baby’s parents. In the same way,our children should have more commitment to the Guru than to themselves

Parents need to be able to convince their children that they belong to God. We can face tradition as if it were an enemy army. It comes before us like a shadow, like wind, like snow, like the force of nature. It is the process of living in human nature and becoming as incarnations and spirits. It is coming and going in front of our children. We need to understand this. Jesus, who came to overcome us, said, “Do not weep for me, but weep for your children.”

This is what the Prophet Muhammad said in his last sermon: God’s curse will affect mostly the children This should never be forgotten. Who will rescue these children from destruction and how can they recover from this destruction? God is in everything, and we cannot do everything in the way of God. There is a situation where the parents are not able to brought up the children properly. Each child can work only to the best of their ability and sense . The same is true of all human beings.

That is why the Gurus are the ones who choose each and every one of us in the respective times to do the work of God. God’s deeds and mercy come only through the Guru whom God chooses. God’s chosen Guru is known through experience. The God who appointed that Guru reveals that Guru before the world. Thus our Guru Navajyotishree Karunakara Guru is the Guru who reveals God. The Guru of the Gurus is the wise of the wise. We have to offer everything to the Guru. We must assume that we belong to the Guru.. We must surrender ourselves to the Guru. The Guru will keep us as we look at the Guru, we will never be in danger and the Guru will wrap us up in any danger and we and our children will be safe in the hands of our Guru. We all have a great responsibility to our society, the world and the universe while performing these deeds of asceticism.

The activities of Gurudharma Prakash Sabha need to spread to different parts of the world in a way that is sufficient to reveal the Dharma of the Guru to the world. It is the word of the Guru that the Gurudharmaprakash Sabha will always be able to lead this parampara in a sublime manner according to the will of the Guru, and may we be able to keep that word. Gurudharma Prakasha Sabha is the power of this parampara, the power of this universe, the source and source of that power, and at the mercy of the Guru, we wish it to become a great source of power that can change the course of the universe with its coal-burning zeal. I extend my love to all. Today is a great day of asceticism.
