Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar to Dedicate the Silver Jubilee Maindiram of Santhigiri Ashram in New Delhi.

New Delhi: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar will dedicate to the public the newly constructed Silver Jubilee Mandiram of Santhigiri Ashram, in Saket, South Delhi on on Monday, November 20 at 5 pm.  Sri Anil Jain. MP will preside over the function and Shashi Tharoor, MP will deliver the keynote speech. Wellknown Gokulam Group Chairman Gokulam Gopalan will be the Chief Guest. Santhigiri Ashram President Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapaswi and General Secretary Swami Gururatnam Jnana Thapaswi will bless the occasion with their august presence. The 12,000 square feet Silver Jubilee complex will have a prayer hall on the ground floor, a skill development training center on the first floor, yoga wellness on the second floor, and an integrated AYUSH treatment center on the third floor.

As part of 25 years of operations of Santhigiri Ashram in the national capital, a wide range of celebrations have been organized.  Lt. Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena will inaugurate the one-year Silver Jubilee celebrations on Friday, November 17 at 5 pm. Union Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan will preside over the function, Dr. Mahesh Sharma MP, Asian Academy for Film & Television Chairman Sandeep Marwa, All India Malayali Association National Chairman Babu Panicker, Political Observer and Managing Director of Flag Communications PK Deepu Nambiar, Middle East University Dean Dr. G. R. Kiran, Janani Shalini Jnana Tapaswini, Delhi Malayali Association President Raghunath K., Pushpavihar Dharamshala General Secretary M. P. Suresh, Ashram Advisory Committee Communications Section Advisor Sabir Tirumala will be present in the meeting.

A two-day seminar on “Knowledge Tradition of India – Dharma and Santhigiri Movement” will be held at JNU, Delhi in collaboration with Central Sanskrit University on November 17 and 18. Dr. Padmavibhushan Sonal Mansingh will inaugurate the seminar. Central Sanskrit University Vice Chancellor Prof. Srinivasa Varakhedi, Gujarat University Vice Chancellor Prof. Neeraj Gupta, former MP Prof. Padma Bhushan Mrinal Miri, and other professors in the fields of education, culture, and research from different parts of the country will participate in the seminar.

The lamp-lighting ceremony of the Prayer Hall at the Silver Jubilee Complex will be conducted on Sunday, November 19 by the Ashram Gurusthaniya Her Holiness Shishya Poojitha Amritha Jnana Thapaswini. Her Holiness Shishya Poojita will arrive in Delhi at 3 pm on November 16 and will be received at the airport by sannyasins and devotees. About 300 people, including sannyasis, sannyasinis, and brahmacharins are accompanying Shishya Poojitha on her pilgrimage to Delhi.

Shishya Poojita guides the Santhigiri Guru Parampara, after the physical departure of the founder Guru, Navajyoti Sri Karunakara Guru. She undertakes important pilgrimages only on rare occasions, It is after 14 years that she is leaving the Ashram headquarters at Pothencode, Thiruvananthapuram. Gurusthaniya Shishya Poojitha is visiting the New Delhi, Saket Pushpavihar Santhigiri Ashram for the second time.

Her Holiness Shishya Poojitha will consecrate the new Prayer Hall by installing AUMKAR, which is the Pratishta, on Sunday, November 19, at 9 a.m., in a prayerful atmosphere amid the unbroken chanting of guru mantra by hundreds of devotees who have been working selflessly for the completion of the building complex. The Santhigiri Silver Jubilee Center will be a prayer center for world peace where anyone can come regardless of caste, religion, caste, and color. Eminent people from the political, social, cultural, and spiritual fields will participate in the public meeting on Sunday, November 19 at 12 noon. Deepap Padakshina will be held at 6 pm. on the same day. As part of the celebrations, daily Satsang, fusion music, and various art and cultural programs will be staged from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The Ashram started its activities in Delhi In 1998. The work started by four devotees of Guru paved the way for the formation of the society and the establishment of Santhigiri Ayurveda Siddha Hospital in Delhi. The Silver Jubilee Mandir was built in 2002 on land acquired in South Delhi. The wish of former President K.R Narayanan, who was a close wellwisher of the Ashram, is also being fulfilled with the dedication of the Silver Jubilee Mandiram. The activities picked up momentum In 2009, during Gurustaniya Shishya Poojitha’s pilgrimage to North India. In the past fourteen years, the Ashram’s activities in various fields such as Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga, Vocational Skills, Women Empowerment, etc. have spread throughout North India.  With the arrival of guru devotees from different parts of the country, massive preparations have begun at the Upashram in Delhi to welcome Gurusthaniya Shishya Pujita. 10000 people will be given food during these days

Swami Bhaktadathan Jnana Thapaswi, Dr. GR Kiran, Dr. Kiran S., Ranjith Devaraj, and Archana Devaraj, who are in charge of the ashram, informed that the big preparations have started to welcome the  Devotees from different parts of the country came to welcome Gurusthaniya Shishya Poojita to the Upashram in Delhi.
