Santhigiri’s Message is of Peace and Harmony: Minister G.R. Anil

Cheyyur: Kerala State Food Supplies Minister G. R. Anil said that Navjyoti Sri Karunakara Guru gave the world a message of peace and harmony through Santhigiri Ashram. The Minister was presiding over the silver jubilee meeting held at Cheyyur Ashram. He also pointed out that the institutions started by the Guru for the growth of India’s unique medical systems like Ayurveda and Siddha are now known to the world. The minister said that the Guru has contributed a rich ascetic tradition to the society and the disciples of the Guru are becoming much loved by the society.

Tamil Nadu State Dairy Development Minister Mano Thangaraj honored Minister G. R. Anil by presenting him with a memento. Ashram President Swami Chaitanya Jnana Tapasvi and General Secretary Swami Gururatnam Jnana Tapasvi graced the occasion. After reaching the ashram in the morning, the minister visited the Dhyana Maddom and participated in the laying of the foundation stone of the prayer hall. After lunch, the Minister returned after having an audience with Gurustaniya Shishya Poojita.
