The Greatness of Prayer : Sharing his life experience – Swami Jyothichandran Jnana Thapaswi

Prayer has a great role in life, let it be it in the life of a Sanyasi or in the life of a householder; this has been experienced many times in my life said Swami Jyothichandran Jnana Thapaswi. Swami was speaking to the members of the Guru Dharma Prakasa Sabha in a meeting held at the Spiritual Zone Conference Hall today (27/09/2022 Tuesday), the second day of Sanyasa Deeksha celebrations. Swami shared his experiences in life.

In 1986-87, when he started coming to Ashram, once he felt a strong desire to go back home. People said that one would be able to go home only after at least two years.

But the next day itself, the Guru asked me to go to my village and bring Sri. Velayudhan, a neighbour at my place to Ashram . I reached there at night and spoke to him about Guru’s message and along with him, travelled back to Ashram. On a later stage he and his family became part of the Ashram and one of his family members becameThe Greatness of Prayer : Sharing his life experince – Swami Jyothichandran Jnana Thapaswi a member of the Guru Dharma Prakasa Sabha.

Guru will make us do certain deeds and we will not know the reason or the reason will be revealed after many years.

Swami also narrated an experience when he was in charge of the Ayurvedic Vaidyasala and while distributing medicine in Kannur.

A disciple’s duty is to follow Guru’s word without any hesitation. It is not the tradition of devotion but the realization of the mind that is needed when living in this organization.

Swami told that Guru had told him to chant Akhandanama as a mantra even while walking and he he follows it till date, Swami added.
