“Manju”

Pothencode: The 9-day Satsang commemorating the 39th Sannyasa Deeksha Varshikam of Santhigiri Ashram began on Sunday, October 15 at the Spiritual Zone Auditorium. Ashram President Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapasvi performed the inauguration ceremony. The Swami said that sannyasa at Santhigiri is the correction in the concept of sannyasa and all other aspects of life in accordance with the Will of Brahman. In other ashrams, there is less possibility of changing the karmic imprints. But Guru can free everyone from the bindings of all karma as he is a born Trikala Jnani.

The Swami said that everyone should have firmness in faith. The Akhandanama mantra given to us to remove atmospheric impurities should be chanted constantly as penance while performing any action. The path of Guru is the path of Brahman founded on experience. Guru is beyond the differences of caste, religion, class, and color. Everyone in the Guru Dharma Prakash Sabha has come here because they had the right to sannyasa. Parents should inculcate in themselves strong faith, self-assurance, devotion, and prayer because their children are so much qualified.

Swami said that if you look at many ashrams, today there are no people to take sannyasa. Guru’s Janmagriham is the place where spiritual experiences get corrected. In his discourse, Swami referred to the self-sacrifice of Guru from his childhood and the sacrifices of Guru’s mother. The historical moments in Guru’s life of sacrifice should be alive in everyone’s mind. Gurudharma Prakash Sabha members should be able to carry forward Guru’s ideology with care in the future. If Guru is kept within our hearts there will be no trouble in the journey of life. Guru always guides us to the path of truth, the Swami concluded.

Sharing her experience, C.P Chandramati of the Jyotipuram unit shared the compassion Guru showered on her family in touching words. There is nothing impossible in the universe if you do the Guru’s prayer and karma with a good heart. She said that one should be assured that Guru is with us always. T.S Karunarupan read Guruvani. V. N. Gopalakrishnan, Assistant General Convener of Santhigiri Parents’ Committee welcomed the gathering.
