Thalaivasal Vijay was presented with the Santhigiri Silver Jubilee Award

Chennai: Renowned actor Thalaivasal Vijaya was presented with the Santhigiri Silver Jubilee Award. Tamil Nadu State Dairy Development Minister Mano Thankaraj and Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururatnam Jnana Tapasvi presented the award at the Silver Jubilee Meeting held at Cheyyur Santhigiri Ashram. Minister G.R. Anil, Kummanam Rajasekharan, Archbishop Dr. Samuel Mar Theophilus, Swami Chaitanya Jnana Tapasvi and Gokulam Gopalan were present on the occasion.

Thalaivasal Vijay also inaugurated the ‘Makkal Health’ medical camp started by Santhigiri Ashram in Tamil Nadu. Although he played many roles in various films, a spiritual transformation took place when he played the role of Sree Narayana Guru in the film Yugapurushan. “I first came to know about Santhigiri Ashram through the Healthcare Center in Annanagar, Chennai”. He said and added that participating in the Silver Jubilee celebrations allowed him to know more about Sri Karunakara Guru and the spirituality of Santhigiri.
