Deepa Pradakshina at Santhigiri Ashram Nambiarkunnu on the occasion of the consecration completion ceremony

Sultan Bathery: Deepa Pradakshina (Procession) was held at Santhigiri Ashram Nambiarkunnu in the fullness of devotion. The Deepa Pradakshina was held at 6 in the evening, in connection with the consecration completion ceremony. Starting from the Prarthanalayam (Prayer Hall) and passing through the ‘Adiparnashala’, the Procession encircled the Ashram complex before finally returning to the spiritual zone and submitting the Deepams at the lotus feet of our beloved Guru. During the Pradakshina, the chants of Guru Mantras from a thousand voices were emanating across the atmosphere. The entire area became beautifully fragrant. As hundreds of devotees lined along the Ashram premises holding deepams (lamps) on their hands, Nambiarkunnu was filled with the light of the deepams during the elusive twilight time that merges day and night. Santhigiri Ashram President Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapaswi presided over the Deepa Pradakshina. Along with the chanting of the Akhanda Naamam, the sounds of the Panchavadyam and Nadasvaram blended into the atmosphere. Many people from tribal villages came to the Ashram to enjoy this beautiful view.
