Let Unwavering Faith Guide Us’: Swami Gururathnam Jnana Thapaswi

Pothencode: Santhigiri Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururathnam Jnana Thapaswi said that faith in the Guru should be unwavering and no matter what the crisis may be, one should continue without giving up. He said this while delivering the keynote speech at the meeting of the Governing Committee of the Arts and Culture Division and Area Committee in Thiruvananthapuram Rural Area held at the Spiritual Zone Conference Hall on January 30 at 8 pm in connection with the Poojita Peeddom Samarpanam celebrations. Ashram life is like walking through the ice surface. You can reach your goal only if you go forward with the confidence that you will not fall. The ashram has people living in the vicinity of the ashram. Everything here must be done with the participation of all. An institution is judged by the sincerity and spirituality of the people working in it.

Cultural activities have helped to make a comprehensive contribution to the activities of the ashram. The year 2023 was a year of achievements for Santhigiri. Major functions including the dedication of new buildings were held at the Kozhikode, Delhi- and Chennai ashram branches. New brahmacharis, brahmacharinis, and sannyasinis came into the order. Cultural activities have been a catalyst for all this.

One should try to become a light to others, at least in a small way, by receiving energy from the supreme light of the Guru. We should be able to hold on to the ashram by bearing the small troubles that we face by thinking about what the Guru endured throughout his life. We should think that staying here is not for the ashram but for us. Swami said everyone should be able to dedicate themselves to the construction of the Janmagriham complex, and development activities of Central Ashram according to Guru’s will on Guru’s 100th birth anniversary.
